McCullough has 26 wins from 30 pro bouts |
Former WBC bantamweight world champion Wayne McCullough has been signed by American promoter Dan Goossen. Belfast's McCullough has spent 18 months looking for representation and recently stated he would 'fight for nothing' to get back in the ring.
Goossen said in a statement: "There is no question that Wayne has what it takes to make a lot of noise in the featherweight division in the future.
"No fan has ever been disappointed by a Wayne McCullough fight."
McCullough, 34, had hoped to come back against John Mackay in June before he injured his hand and has not fought since losing to Scott Harrison last March.

It was felt that few promoters were interested after his beating at the hands of WBO featherweight champion Harrison.
But Goossen, who also promotes former three-time world champion James Toney, feels McCullough still has more to offer.
"I'm honoured to be working with Wayne again," said Goossen. "He has gone toe-to-toe with boxing's best for over a decade.
"I not only had the pleasure of working with Wayne back in the America Presents days, but I also promoted his first fight at the Reseda Country Club in 1993.
