Williams lost his British crown in January |
British heavyweights Danny Williams and Herbie Hide will meet in a massive grudge match on 23 April. They will be fighting for the European Union Heavyweight Championship of the World and will share a purse of 151,515.
The bad blood between Williams and Hide stems from the former's claims he felled Hide during a sparring session.
The pair subsequently clashed at a news conference in 1999, when Hide tried to attack his bitter rival.
"This is a big fight which will get everybody interested," said Williams.
"I'm definitely not going to the press conferences wearing a shirt and tie like I usually do.
"I'm going to wear something so I'm able to keep my arms loose so I can defend myself - Herbie goes off his head at anything."
Williams needs to kick-start his career after losing the British crown to Michael Sprott in January while Hide's comeback has stalled.
