Olympic champion and British heavyweight hope Audley Harrison comprehensively beat Dutchman Richel Hersisia for the WBF title on 20 March.
And Harrison reckons he will be fighting for the big titles within the next 12-18 months.
He recently slammed his British heavyweight rivals, saying he needs bigger challenges if he is to follow in the footsteps of retired champ Lennox Lewis.
"They have all had the opportunity but now I have washed my hands of it," said the Londoner. We put your questions to Audley and you can see his answers below.
Why are you not supporting British boxing by challenging for the British, Commonwealth and European titles which is the standard route to a world title shot?
Marlon McGlashan, Harrow
I'm not ruling out the Commonwealth and European belts.
The problem with the British title is that Frank Warren is controlling it. Politically, it is hard to make the fights. Regrettably, the British title is not an option.
Danny Williams and Herbie Hide meet on 23 April. Who's your money on? And what are the chances of you meeting the winner in the first defence of your WBF belt?
Steve McKenna, Sudbury, Suffolk
I don't think the fight will happen. If it does it'll be a 50/50 bout and a good one. Hide could get beaten by a Williams right hand and Williams could lose to a succession of Hide blows.
I'd happily box the winner at a level above British. That opens it up if they want to step up to European, but they won't want to.
How annoying is it for you when the media keep on questioning your opponents and your progress since turning professional?
Lee McLoughlin, London
It gets a bit frustrating but every sports star from David Beckham to Linford Christie gets criticised. I'm pretty philosophical about it.
I'm not looking left and I'm not looking right, I'm just walking through the middle. When I'm finished, the critics won't have a voice.
What are your thoughts on the Klitschko brothers and where do you see yourself in the division if these two win the WBC and WBO belts?
Jim West, Chicago, IL
Both are quite formidable with chinks in their armour. They are tall and make very good use of that. They should dominate for the next year or so, but I'll be ready to fight them in 12-18 months.
Who in the whole heavyweight division do you most want to fight?
James Woolnough, Guernsey
I have no fantasy bout because Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson were not in my era. Dominick Guinn could be the fight for me because I believe he could be at the top of the mountain in 12-18 months. He could be the pick of the up-and-comers.
Which boxer - past or present - has been the greatest inspiration to you?
Chris Armstrong, Dhekelia Garrison, Cyprus
There have been numerous heroes but I looked up to Marvin Hagler when I was young. He was a southpaw and could switch hit. I think he won that famous fight against Sugar Ray Leonard.
Can you ever see yourself signing with Frank Warren or would you be more likely to sign with someone like Don King?
Martin Wood, Leeds
A-Force is its own promotion company so I do not need to sign for anyone. But I will consider business collaborations with anyone.
How was your American experience? What was the quality of your sparring partners like over there? Any big names?
Oliver Stevenson, Newcastle
My time in the US was unbelievable and gave me a whole new perspective. While I was in Big Bear, Shane Mosley and Diego Corrales had camps there. It is impossible not to learn with that level of fighters around you.
Anyone who is serious about boxing must go to America because that is where the best fighters and trainers are. If you want to be the best, you have to mix with the best.
I was hanging out with James Toney, Mosley, Oscar De la Hoya and others and they all respect me because they know I can be a champion of the future.
What is more important to you - the fame or the money?
Matthew Ogle, York
It is about the glory, which is gained by winning world titles. Without substance, you can't get fame or money.
Do you think the heavyweight division is in as bad a shape as the journalists make it out to be?
Alex Saxon, Southampton
Definitely not, but it is a new era. The last generation with Riddick Bowe, Evander Holyfield, Lewis and Tyson could have lived in any era. This one will produce more great heavyweights and I'll add to it. I will be one the best of my generation.
Who do you think will hold the title when you come to challenge for your first big world belt?
Chris Bunt, Chesterfield
Guinn or Nigerian prospect Samuel Peter.
