Wayne McCullough's promoter Frank Warren has warned against the boxer fighting for a world title in his next bout.
The Ulster fighter is insisting that he wants to continue his career inspite of his heavy beating by Scott Harrison in March.
Harrison, himself, then lost his WBO featherweight title when he was outpointed by veteran Manuel Medina earlier this month.
McCullough has already asked Warren to get him a shot at Medina but the promoter admits that he's cautious over that suggestion.
"I need to sit down and talk with Wayne about his future because he did suffer a very bad defeat against Harrison," said Warren.
"I would like to see him have a fight before thinking about titles".
