Calzaghe plots stylish defence
Calzaghe prepares for his 11th super-middleweight defence against Miguel Jimenez
Fans turned out in force to watch Calzaghe
Joe Calzaghe was in a confident mood as he held his first ever public workout in front of hundreds of fans at Cardiff's Capitol Shopping Centre.

Calzaghe was bullish as he prepared for his 11th super-middleweight against Miguel Jimenez at Cardiff Castle on 17 August.

"I'm looking forward to it. I hope the workout has attracted a lot of interest.

It's important I win it in style - I know the Americans are watching
Joe Calzaghe
"There will be three world title fights on the night and there should be a great atmosphere. The castle is a tremendous venue."

Calzaghe wants to test himself against the biggest names in his division.

He is still eyeing a clash with undisputed middleweight champion Bernard Hopkins even though a deal to fight the American fell through last week.

He knows that a good victory over Jimenez might help him to achieve this aim.

"It's important I win it in style. I know the Americans are watching and Hopkins is the one I am looking for.

"Jimenez is a good fighter but if I am on top of my game then I can win in seven or eight rounds."
