Norfolk shot putter Sophie McKinna won bronze on her senior competition debut at the UK Indoor Trials and Championships in Sheffield. The 16-year-old's best throw of 14.91 set a new British indoor record for her age group. Her throw matched that of Shaunagh Brown, with the result decided by a count-back, handing Brown silver. McKinna told BBC Radio Norfolk: "I didn't expect to win a medal, it was far beyond my expectation."
