Druce celebrates his gold medal winning run in the men's 400m
Guernsey's Tom Druce has claimed his third gold medal at the 2009 Island Games in Aland.
The 22-year-old's latest gold came as part of Guernsey's winning team in the men's 4x400m relay.
The team stormed to victory in the final, beating the Commonwealth Games qualifying time, which means they can compete at the games in Delhi 2010.
Druce's other golds at the Wiklov Holding Arena in Aland came in the men's 400m and 800m.
Druce won the 400m on Thursday evening in exactly 47 seconds, a time which gave him a comfortable margin over Donald Macleod from the Western Isles who finished in 48.82.
In the men's 1500m, Guernsey's Lee Merrien took the islands gold count to 17, beating Joseph Wade from the Isle of Wight by just under four seconds.
Third in the 1500m was Guernsey's Lee Garland, who won his second medal of the games as he finished behind Wade and Merrien.
Merrien also won gold in the men's 5,000m on Wednesday.
