Perrio managed to recover from a fall to win the 10,000m
Guernsey's athletes have won three further track medals, with a gold for Louise Perrio and silver for Lee Garland and Kylie Robilliard.
Perrio recovered from a stumble in the 10,000 metres to claim Guernsey's first gold on the track.
With just five laps to go Perrio tripped, but recovered and profited when the race leader pulled out.
The 26-year-old said: "I didn't plan to fall so I had to try and get back gradually without wasting my energy."
Perrio finished in a time of 37:53:45, beating silver medallist Súsanna Skylv Sørensen by just under six seconds.
Perrio told BBC Radio Guernsey after the race: "I'm tired, hot and sticky, but just happy.
"Mentally, falling over makes you cross, which can be a good thing provided you don't go off and waste all of your energy."
3000m silver
Further long-distance success on the track came from Lee Garland who won silver in the 3000m steeplechase.
The 34-year-old finished nine seconds behind Thomas Wade from the Isle of Wight in a time of 09:44:21.
Garland told BBC Radio Guernsey: "It didn't quite go to plan exactly, I didn't really want to lead at the start.
"But I think Wade was well within himself and didn't fancy running a fast time so it was quite slow at the start.
"I was waiting for him to take the lead really so I stayed at the front for a little bit, but when he went past I just couldn't hang on," Garland added.
100m silver
You have to be pleased. Island Games, silver medal, brilliant.
Kylie Robilliard
Kylie Robilliard marked her return to the games with a second-placed finish in the women's 100m final.
Robilliard has been troubled by injury which meant she had to miss the 2007 Island Games in Rhodes.
The 21-year-old finished in 12.66 seconds behind Hanna Wiss from Aland, but felt she could have gone one better.
Robilliard said: "I am pleased with that, but slightly disappointed though because on paper my times could have got me a little bit further.
"But you have to be pleased. Island Games, silver medal, brilliant."
