Druce (centre) will use the trials as experience for London 2012 |
Guernsey runner Tom Druce says he is using this weekend's Olympic trials in Birmingham to gain experience in his bid to run for Britain at London 2012. Druce, who broke the island's 600m record last month, is running the 400m at the Alexander Stadium. "I've probably got a good chance of making at least the relay team in 2012 so that's my goal really," Druce told BBC Guernsey. "This is just a stepping stone on the way to that," he added.
