Welsh hurdler Rhys Williams has vowed to keep faith with coach Colin Jackson after training partner Tim Benjamin this week decided to walk away. "I've so much confidence in Colin," said last year's 400m hurdles European Championships bronze medallist.
"I'm very happy as he's a brilliant coach and I want to prove that by winning an Olympic medal.
"I haven't even considered a change because there's no better hurdler in the world than Colin to learn from."
Williams has been out of action since September last year when he injured his foot in training shortly after Jackson took over as his coach.
The stress fracture means 23-year-old Williams will miss August's World Championships in Japan, but he hopes to compete again before the end of this season.
Compatriot Benjamin announced his decision to split from Jackson last Thursday.
The 25-year-old 400m runner, who was ranked fourth in the world in 2005, has struggled to find his best form this season.
