Ugandan Moses Kipsiro was runner-up last year at Stormont |
Uganda's Moses Kipsiro hopes to go one better than last year in the big Belfast International Cross Country event at Stormont on 6 January. Kipsiro was pipped on the line by strong-finishing Kenyan Barnabas Kosgei in last year's event.
The 20-year old Ugandan was outstanding on the track during the summer which elevated him to world class level.
It is hoped that NI champion Joe McAllister (St Malachy's) and Donegal athlete Gary Murray will also compete.
Both will be competing for Ireland in this weekend's European Cross Country Championships in Italy.
