Maeve Kyle has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2006 Coaching Awards in London. The accolade was bestowed in recognition of her work with athletes at the Ballymena and Antrim Athletics Club.
Amanda Kirby, who guided gymnast Beth Tweddle to World Championship gold in October, was among the other winners.
Earlier this year Maeve was one of 10 players who were initially installed into Irish hockey's Hall of Fame.
