Ireland's six-strong team for the World Junior Championships in Beijing later this month will include three Northern Ireland-based athletes. Sprinters Jason Smyth and Amy Foster will be joined in the Irish team by Lagan Valley 400m hurdler Chris Quinn.
City of Derry's Smyth will run the 100m in China while North Down athlete Foster has been selected for the 200m.
The other selected athletes are Kalyn Sheehan (women's 400H), Davi McCarthy (800m) and long jumper Kelly Proper.
