Paul Brizzel retained his men's 200 metres title at the Irish National Championships at Santry on Saturday. The Ballymena athlete clocked 21.33 seconds in beating second-placed Darragh Graham.
Joe McAllister of St Malachy's could not hold on to his 10000 metres crown, finishing runner-up to Vincent Mulvey who won in 29 minutes 58 seconds.
Eugene O'Neill of Crusaders AC won the 3000 metres steeplechase in a time of eight minutes 56.62 seconds.
