 Delloreen Ennis-London will race against Ireland Derval O'Rourke |
Delloreen Ennis-London, the World hurdles silver medallist, will face Irish record breaker Derval O'Rourke in the Irish Indoor Championships at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast this weekend. The Jamaican star is currently ranked third in the World and was timed at 8.06 seconds recently while O'Rourke set an Irish record of 7.98 last week.
British record holder Sarah Claxton will also be competing in the race.
Also in action will be World indoor 400m champion Alleyne Francique.
Already announced for this meeting are World outdoor triple jump champion Trecia Smith of Jamaica and World indoor silver medallist Yamile Aldama of Sudan.
Ireland's European indoor 400metres champion David Gillick is another top star who will be up against local talent.
