Britain's Jason Gardener won the 60 metres at the IAAF indoor meeting in Moscow on Thursday. World indoor champion Gardener took the tape in 6.60 seconds, beating Nagel Morne of South Africa by one-hundredth of a second.
Kelly Holmes' European 1,000m record was also broken at the event.
Russia's Yulia Chizhenko finished in two minutes 32.16 seconds, eight-tenths faster than the mark set by Holmes in at Birmingham in 2004.
