Margaret Okayo heads a list of top names who will compete against world record holder Paula Radcliffe in the 2006 London Marathon on 23 April.

The Kenyan, a winner in London in 2004, is joined by American Deena Kastor, who won last year's Chicago Marathon.

Kenyans Susan Chepkemei and Selina Kosgei, Romanian Constantina Dita and Russian Lyudmila Petrova also feature.

The women's race will be run in mixed conditions with male pacemakers to help the competitors to fast times.

Mara Yamauchi starts after becoming the fifth fastest Briton of all time with her fifth place in Toyko in November.

And former world 10,000m champion Berhane Adere makes her debut at the distance.
