 O'Sullivan had a disappointing time in Athens |
Sonia O'Sullivan bounced back from her Athens disappointment to win the Flora Lite Challenge for Women in London's Hyde Park. The Irish star, who came last in the Olympic 5,000 metres final, put in a strong sprint finish on the 5km course to win in 15 minutes and six seconds.
She finished two seconds ahead of Ethiopia's Derartu Tulu, who had built up an early lead before being caught.
Romania's Mihaela Botezan finished third in 15:24.
