Radcliffe leads British bid
Radcliffe winning the European cross country title
Radcliffe is European champion
Paula Radcliffe has been included by Great Britain for both the 8km and 4km races at the World Cross Country Championships on 20-21 March.

The European cross country champion will be joined in the longer race by Kathy Butler, Hayley and Liz Yelling, Natalie Harvey and Louise Damen.

And, if she declares herself fit after a recent virus, Radcliffe will also compete in the 4km in Brussels.

Jon Brown returns for the men's 12km race and Andrew Graffin is in the 4km.

And Glynn Tromans, who won the Inter-Counties Cross Country at the weekend, will be running in his eighth consecutive world cross country.

Radcliffe helped the British women to the bronze medals at the world championships six years ago and will hope to bounce back to form after losing a 10km race in Puerto Rico last month.

Butler and Hayley Yelling were automatically selected after finishing first and third respectively in the Inter-Counties and Harvey , who previously represented Australia six times in the championships, will be making her debut in a British vest.

British 3,000m indoor record holder Jo Pavey and Commonwealth 1500m bronze medallist Helen Clitheroe will join Radcliffe in the shorter race along with Scottish 4km champion Freya Murray.
