British sprinter Darren Campbell will make a rare indoor appearance when he runs in Belfast later this month.

The Olympic 200ms silver medallist returns to Ulster for the Irish Indoor Athletic Championships on 14 February.

Campbell scored a surprise success last year when he beat former world indoor junior champion Mark Lewis-Francis over 60m at the Odyssey Arena.

Competition this time is expected to come from Ballymena's multi-Irish sprint record holder Paul Brizzell.

World 20km walk silver medallist Gillian O'Sullivan will also make a repeat visit to the venue where she set a world 3km walking record 12 months ago.

World indoor 400m bronze medallist Paul McKee and former Commonwealth high jump champion Dalton Grant are also in action in Belfast.
