Paul McKee plans to compete at the World Indoors in Budapest |
Paul McKee's indoor season got off to a struggling start when he finished fourth in the 400m at the Norwich Union International in Glasgow on Saturday. The world indoor bronze medallist clocked 48.16 seconds which was 2.17 seconds outside his Irish record.
McKee struggled last summer because of a hamstring problem.
Russia's Dmitriy Forshev won in a modest 46.71 ahead of Italy's Andrea Barberi (47.64) and Britain's Du'aine Ladejo (47.88).
McKee is scheduled to race in the Irish Indoor Championships in Belfast on 14/15 February and plans to compete in the World Indoors in Budapest during March.
