"One of our most recent advances at the Academy are force plates at the bowler's crease.

"The plates measure the amount of force which goes through the bowler's back and front feet.

"Bowlers place around four times their bodyweight on their back foot during their delivery stride, so we're still learning about how injuries are caused."
