England player ratings
Marks out of 10 for the England players, following their heroic 15-13 victory over New Zealand in Wellington.

Josh Lewsey: Superb under the high ball and brave in defence, the Wasps man consistently put his body on the line.

Jason Robinson: Little opportunity to show his pace in the loose, but he proved, yet again, that his defence is equal to the task.

Will Greenwood: Marshalled England's defence well in a congested midfield. Refused to be intimidated by a pacy Kiwi back-line.

Mike Tindall: Consistently passed the gain-line with the ball in hand, despite few opportunities. Rock solid in defence.

Ben Cohen: Little ball in the opening half but came close to scoring in the second period. Used his strength to good effect throughout.

Jonny Wilkinson: Struggled with his kicking out of hand, but made no mistake when it mattered most. Slotted four superb penalties in difficult conditions and proved the difference between the sides.

Kyran Bracken: A late replacement for the injured Matt Dawson, but looked far more at ease than his counterpart Justin Marshall.

Graham Rowntree: Met the challenge of the Kiwi front row head-on. Gave away a number of penalties, but provided a solid platform up front.

Steve Thompson: A game of two halves. Struggled to find his jumpers in the lineout during the first 40, but enjoyed a dominating performance in the latter stages.

Jason Leonard: Replaced at half-time by Phil Vickery, but proved he still has what it takes to succeed at the top level.

Martin Johnson: Led by example in typical fashion. Put in a number of huge hits on his own line during the second-half.

Ben Kay: Gave away an early penalty but made up for it with a tireless performance. Followed his captain into the heat of the battle and never took a backward step.

Richard Hill: The world's best back row player just got better. A near-perfect performance from Hill, who tackled himself to a standstill.

Neil Back: Sin-binned early in the second half, but returned with aplomb to absorb enormous Kiwi pressure.

Lawrence Dallaglio: The man-of-the-match for England, despite receiving a yellow card. Made the hard yards with the ball in hand and proved immovable in defence. A towering performance.

Phil Vickery: Replaced Leonard at half-time and arguably proved to be England's most effective ball carrier. Solid in the scrum, he contributed mightily to his country's cause.

Joe Worsley: Entered the fray seven minutes from time to replace an exhausted Hill. Not enough time to impress, but did nothing to blot his copybook.
