Heineken Cup guide - Pool Three
Ospreys wing Shane Williams and Perpignan fly-half Dan Carter

Perpignan have signed All Blacks' fly-half Dan Carter but he will not arrive in France until after New Zealand's European tour in November, and is likely to make his debut against Leicester on 6 December.

The Tigers, who have two new number 10s of their own in Toby Flood and Derick Hougaard, are showing signs of finding their old form under new boss Heyneke Meyer.

The two-time champions are always a handful in Europe while Welsh prospects the Ospreys, who include Shane Williams, James Hook and Gavin Henson, are being talked up as possible title contenders.

Treviso may be a domestic force but they will once again occupy the traditional spot of Italian teams - bottom.
