31 mins: Gloucester break down the right and Ryan Lamb chips through for the greyhound-like Iain Balshaw to chase. The wing gathers and kicks on but Saracens clean up at the ensuing line-out to ease the initial pressure.
28 mins: Both sides are plugging away at each other like prize fighters refusing to yield an inch. First Sarries probe the Gloucester line, then Gloucester hit back. It's absorbing for the rugby purist and packed with potential but, the try apart, the precision is not quite clicking.

3 mins: The Kingsholm faithful are on their feet as James Simpson-Daniel intercepts a Saracens pass and hits the accelerator in a big way. He would most likely have hared unopposed to the other end for a score but referee Wayne Barnes blows for a knock-on earlier in the move.
