Pat Richards took his try tally of the season to 13 in a 26-point haul
Super League leaders Wigan Warriors swept aside Wakefield Wildcats 54-14 at the DW Stadium for their ninth victory of the season.
Warriors ran in 10 tries as Pat Richards amassed a 26-point tally including a hat-trick.
Darrell Goulding also scored a hat-trick and Amos Roberts crossed twice.
The visitors scored three tries inside 10 minutes but by then the game was over with the only downside a suspected broken leg for full-back Roberts.
Warriors took just 90 seconds to breech their opponents' defence as Goulding's break down the right ended with a neat in-field kick that was gathered by Roberts.
Swift handling from Sam Tomkins, Sean O'Loughlin and Phil Bailey then put Richards away for his opener five minutes later.
With 18 minutes gone Roberts's cut-out pass sent Richards in to double his tally.
Joel Tomkins showed his pace, strength and guile with an 80-metre gallop to open up a 22-0 lead with 25 minutes played.
Then Roberts got in on the act with a 65-metre dash that saw him break two tackles and carry two more of the Wildcats over the line with him.
But in the final charge he collided with the posts and was eventually stretchered off.
Goulding scored either side of the break before Wakefield finally found some joy when Blanch intercepted a pass to race 80-metres to score.
Paul Cooke and Blaymire combined twice to give the visitors the slenderest of hope with 35 minutes to go.
That was extinguished when debutant Liam Farrell, cousin of former Great Britain skipper Andy, muscled his way over for the Warriors.
Richards then claimed his hat-trick off a Paul Deacon kick and Goulding took his third for the afternoon.
Wigan coach Michael Maguire: "Amos has gone straight to hospital with a suspected broken leg so we'll have to see.
"He's been doing a great job for us so it'll be a big loss but we've got people there who can fill the spot.
"We had a few battered around today and over the last few weeks but it's a credit to the boys - they're playing extremely hard and they're getting their rewards with the results."
Wakefield coach John Kear told BBC Radio Leeds:
"I don't think they (Wigan) bend the rules, I think they play the interpretations of the rules to perfection, so good on them - they've worked it out really well and they apply it very well.
"They strangle you out of the game as they did in the first half against us so all credit to them, but it's not entertaining.
"It's slow, it looks ponderous as a game and I don't think it's exciting - if we want to drive people away then we'll go down this road, if you want to attract people then you want to see a speedy game."
