Sydney's Telstra Stadium has been chosen to host the opening match of this year's Tri-Nations Series. The former Olympic Stadium was chosen ahead of venues in Melbourne and Brisbane for the game with New Zealand on the weekend of 15-16 October.
It will be the first time Australia have played in Sydney since 2003 and the first at Telstra for five years.
The teams will meet again a week later, probably in Auckland, before flying to England for the rest of the tournament.
The final will be held on 26 November, with the City of Manchester Stadium the preferred venue.
