Guernsey's men lost out but the women beat Jersey

Jersey's men have beaten rivals Guernsey 5-4 to retain the darts inter-insular.

But Jersey's women failed to hold onto their crown as they were beaten 6-3 by the Sarnians at the KGV last weekend.

Guernsey Darts Association's Gill Le Cras told BBC Guernsey: "A lot of the good players we had were getting tons plus and that was just exciting.

"Some of the women's scores have been absolutely phenomenal, they've had some fantastic scores and checkouts."
