Tomlinson played for the San Diego Chargers at Wembley in 2008.
NFL star running back LaDainian Tomlinson has said he would love to return to London with his new team, the Super Bowl contending New York Jets.
Tomlinson played for San Diego against New Orleans at Wembley in 2008 and told BBC Sport he has very fond memories of the occasion.
"I had a great time with great fans who showed their support. The London fans embraced the NFL," he said.
"I would love the opportunity to go back there with my new team, the Jets."
But Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger - who will face Tomlinson's Jets on Sunday - expressed concerns about the travel implications of playing in London.
"I've spoken to some of the guys who have been over there and they said it's one of the most awesome things they've done," he said.
"But the amount of travel could be disruptive, I know it's a long flight."
The NFL has yet to announce whether there will be a regular-season game in London for the fifth successive season next autumn, pending the outcome of labour negotiations with players.
Both Roethlisberger and Tomlinson were speaking ahead of New York's AFC Championship game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, with a place in Super Bowl XLV in Dallas on 6 February on the line.
