He thinks the course suits a horse that can turn and accelerate very quickly and his only worry for London 2012 is the traffic.
Thu 14 Apr 11: Hinrich's dream of defending his Olympic title in London next year appears to be dimming after it was announced he will not compete at the European Eventing Championships in Luhmühlen, Germany this August.
His horse, Marius, has still not fully recovered from a tendon injury that has already prevented the German rider from participating at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky, US last year.
Hinrich has not been able to compete with Marius since the Beijing Olympics and it is questionable whether the horse, which will be 18 years old next year, can return to full fitness in time for the London Games.
