Phillip Price and Thomas Bjorn have both withdrawn from of this week's World Cup in South Carolina. Welshman Price has flu while Bjorn suffered a recurrence of a neck injury during practice at the Seve Trophy.
The Dane will be replaced by 2002 Volvo PGA champion Anders Hansen while Ian Woosnam will take Price's place in the Wales team.
The World Golf Championship event at the Kiawah Island course offers a first prize of $1m.
Woosnam, who is currently on holiday in Barbados, will be making his 17th appearance in the tournament.
The World Cup, which is being staged for the 49th time, will feature 24 two-man teams.

The current champions are Japan's Shigeki Maruyama and Toshi Izawa, who won last year's title by two strokes from the US at the Vista Vallarta course in Mexico.
Maruyama will be back to defend the title, this time with Hidemichi Tanaka.
Tough opposition will come from Ireland's Padraig Harrington and Paul McGinley and America's Jim Furyk and Justin Leonard, among others.
Paul Casey and Justin Rose are England's representatives, while Paul Lawrie and Alastair Forsyth will play for Scotland.
