Whichever way you look at it, France will go through, provided they beat Togo.

You could see from the argument between Zidane and Gallas that there is obvious discontent in the camp...
But don't blame Henry - blame the manager! His selections have been awful - I can't believe Coupet is not in goal and not taking Guily is laughable! Plus, why not play Malouda and Ribery - Wiltord has been rubbish.

Unbelievable - first Ghana beats Czech Republic, then Angola draws with Mexico, then Ecuador, then T&T draws with Sweden, then USA draws with Italy, now South Korea draws with France!! All of this happening in Europe.
Postscript - Viera's header should have stood!

Nothing better in football than watching a team of Prima Donnas try to protect a one goal lead for 80+ minutes, and screw it up right at the end!

GREAT, South Korea score. Serves France right for trying to play 1-0 football.

This match sums up most of the group games in this World Cup - play safe, get the points. If you think you can protect a one goal lead, do so; even if you're capable of banging in another two or three.
I suppose 2002 was an exception, and World Cups don't really get started until the second round.

After the high of Brazil match, this match is really boring.... The French dont finish quick... no quick passing no creativity... pretty flat-footed match really. 2055: biskot
For me, Malouda is the difference in France today. That boy is developing into a good midfielder, although he's a bit unimaginative and selfish at times. He needs the vision of Zidane to effectively claim that role for himself.

Vieira's header was a clear goal - you don't need any special technology to see it.
2030: bluvaio
Does anyone think that the Vieira header crossed the line?
2012: The Pain
A class pass (surprising as it was from Wiltord of all people) and then a typical Henry finish thereafter to put France 1-0 up.
2004: MSOB
South Korea have home advantage by the sounds of it. Love those drums!
1930: Saint No Stopping Us Now
South Korea are dangerous. The old men of France are going to have to up their game.
