Robinson has made 50 appearances since joining Leeds in 2008
Tranmere boss Les Parry has completed the loan signings of Leeds United forward Andy Robinson and Chelsea left-back Ben Gordon.
Robinson, 30, began his professional career at Prenton Park before moving to Swansea City at the age of 24.
Gordon, 19, has represented England at U-17 level and has been a regular in Chelsea's reserve side this season.
Robinson has signed until the end of the season and Gordon arrives at Prenton Park on a one-month loan deal.
The pair have joined with help from the Les Aid initiative launched by the Tranmere and Wirral Supporters Trust with the aim of raising £10,000 to bring in a new player.
I'm delighted with the contribution of our fans whose efforts have enabled us to bring a player of high calibre
Manager Les Parry on signing Andy Robinson
Robinson made more than 200 appearances for Swansea, scoring 54 goals, and helped them win promotion to the Championship before joining Leeds.
"His ability at set-plays will add to what we've already got at the club," said Parry.
"I'm delighted with the contribution of our fans whose efforts have enabled us to bring a player of high calibre.
"Andy is a classy player who has great vision, can score goals and create chances for others.
Gordon is a third year professional at Chelsea having joined them from Leeds.
"Ben is a talented defender who has a lot of potential," Parry said.
"With Zoumana Bakayogo and Aaron Cresswell suspended for the game at Brighton on Saturday, his signing means we don't have to play someone out of position."
The two new additions follow the arrival midfielder Joss Labadie who signed on Wednesday from West Brom.
