Shrewsbury Town winger Chris Humphrey has started a recovery programme to regain his fitness in time for the League Two play-off final at Wembley.
Humphrey, 21, strained his hamstring in the first leg of Town's play-off semi-final against Bury last Thursday.
Manager Paul Simpson told BBC Radio Shropshire: "He's working close with the physio and hopefully he'll be able to start training again next Monday.
"Chris is our only injury concern but hopefully he'll be fit."
Humphrey was first spotted by former manager Gary Peters playing for West Bromwich Albion when he lined up against Shrewsbury in a reserve game.
Town booked their place at Wembley after beating Bury 4-3 on penalties at Gigg Lane on Sunday.
Simpson's men will play now Gillingham next Saturday (23 May, 1500 BST), the Gills having booked their place with a 2-1 aggregate victory against Rochdale.
