Delaney has left Hull for Championship rivals QPR |
QPR have signed Hull defender Damien Delaney for an undisclosed fee on a three-and-a-half year deal. Delaney, 26, joined the Tigers from Leicester in October 2002 for a fee of around 50,000 when he became the first signing of ex-Hull boss Peter Taylor.
QPR raised their original 400,000 bid after they failed to sign Sheffield Wednesday left-back Tommy Spurr.
QPR also released Shabazz Baidoo, who subsequently signed for Dagenham, Pat Kanyuka and Kieron St Aimie.
