Bradford chairman Julian Rhodes has confirmed that his 138 season ticket initiative will go ahead after 7,000 supporters pledged their support. The Bantams were relegated from League One following their 3-0 defeat away to Chesterfield on Saturday.
Rhodes told the Telegraph & Argus: "I want people who can't otherwise afford it to be able to watch football now.
"At a time when everyone is talking about cutting the cost of watching football, we are leading the way."
Rhodes added: "It has been a difficult season but the future of the club is in the hands of the supporters."
