Harry Redknapp says his former club Bournemouth have a great chance of pulling off a 'miracle'.

A 1-0 win over Crewe has left them one point from safety going into the final game, which is away at Carlisle.

After watching the Cherries sixth win in six games, Redknapp told BBC Radio Solent: "It would be incredible.

"It would be more than a Great Escape, it would be a miracle. If Kevin (Bond) doesn't get manager of the month there's something wrong."

I never had any doubts Kevin Bond was going to do well

After being 14 points adrift in March, Bournemouth must better Cheltenham's result against Doncaster and equal Gillingham's away at Leeds to stay in League One.

"What a run he's had and what a job he's done in keeping it going," added Redknapp

"I think it's been a great experience for him to come through what he's been through. I never had any doubts he was going to do well."
