Former Gunner Nigel Winterburn feels Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has successfully tweaked his strategy this season.

Winterburn told BBC Sport: "Arsenal have upped their work rate to win the ball back earlier and are pressing teams much higher up the pitch.

"Emmanuel Adebayor and Robin van Persie provide a real presence up front and the rest of the team pushes in tight behind them.

"Arsenal are also are getting far more crosses into the box, and that is putting more pressure on teams. Confidence is high and the whole team is more willing to shoot from outside the area."
