Dunfermline will return to Hampden on Tuesday 24 April for the replay |
Dunfermline manager Stephen Kenny said he was not exactly thrilled with their goalless semi-final draw at Hampden against Hibernian in the Scottish Cup. Both sides now face a return trip to the national stadium on Tuesday 24 April to decide who will face Celtic in the final on 26 May.
"I can't say I'm ecstatic - we're still in it, but I felt we probably had the better chances," said Kenny.
"Hibs are a smashing side, but it was a decent performance from us."
Kenny also singled out defender Souleymane Bamba, who kept the Pars in the tie when he headed a goal-bound effort off the line in the dying minutes of the match.
"He was very good today, but our problems are at the other end now," he said.
"Scott Wilson is suspended for the replay, which is only ten days away, and we have Dundee United next Saturday.
"So that's really a more important game for us now and we have to make sure we're alright for that."
