Scottish Cup player ratings | | Marks out of 10 for the Hibernian and Dunfermline players in the Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden. HIBERNIAN Andrew McNeil: pulled off two incredible saves in the first half, keeping the Hibees in the match. Substituted following a first-half injury. Steven Whittaker: could have opened the scoring in the first half, but sent his shot across the face of goal. Made a good start to the second half, but picked up a yellow card for a dangerous challenge. Rob Jones: cut an imposing figure up front and maintained a strong aerial threat. Chris Hogg: threatened from the middle of the pitch with some mazy runs, but often ran out of steam. David Murphy: created some early chances, but with no significant impact on the game. Ivan Sproule: gave Dorus De Vries a scare after 10 mins and was a potent force in the second half. Guillaume Beuzelin: kept himself busy in the first half, but never really produced a significant threat and was careless with posession in the second half. Steven Fletcher: made some good runs, but couldn't get on the end of some of the early chances and missed a golden opportunity in the second half. Lewis Stevenson: busy first half, but to little effect.
Scott Brown: Sensational start, imposing his will in the middle of the pitch and making some good runs. Abdessalam Benjelloun: always looked a threat, but didn't get a big enough share of the posession in the first half. Improved in the second half with more bite to his runs.
Substitutes Simon Brown (on for McNeill after 45 minutes): mostly a spectator for the second 45 minutes.
DUNFERMLINE Dorus De Vries: pulled off some crucial saves in the early stages and continued to look confident. Jamie McCunnie: had little chance to impress in the first half. Greg Shields: marshalled well in the opening stages, but lost his discipline with a rash challenge with Sproule. Scott Wilson: made a calm and composed start to the game and cleared his lines well, but picked up a needless booking late in the second half. Phil McGuire: lashed in a thundering vollley on 20 minutes, but McNeill parried. Substituted after 45 minutes. Jamie McCunnie: competent work rate in the first half. Scott Muirhead: largely absent in the first half, made little impact on the second. Adam Hammill: stamped his authority on the match, but was lucky not to be dismissed for a wreckless challenge on Sproule. Substituted for Owen Morrison after 80 minutes. Souleymane Bamba: lynch-pin of the Pars' defence in the early stages, playing for safety and keping his side in the game with some confident clearances. Easily man of the match. Gary Mason: lost some discipline in the first half and struggled to contain Benjelloun and Brown. Lacked composure in front of goal. James O'Brien: confident backtracking in the early stages. Jim McIntyre: constantly looked like a serious threat at the edge of the box.
Substitutes Greg Ross: (on for McGuire after 45 minutes) failed to make a significant impact on the game. Owen Morrison (on for Adam Hammill after 85 minutes) had little chance to impress.
