Alan Fraser has returned to Mourneview Park as part of Colin Malone's managerial team at Glenavon. The former Lurgan Blues and Ballymena United boss had been assistant to George Dunlop at Bangor but the former Linfield duo resigned last week.
Fraser guided Glenavon to Irish Cup success over Linfield 15 years ago.
Malone is believed to have been on the lookout for an experienced coach to boost the fortunes of the club who beat Bangor on penalties in the play-off.
