Neither side could break the deadlock in an entertaining game. Darren Boyce and Ciaran Ferry had first half chances for Coleraine while Marty Verner, Davy McAlinden and Kieran O'Connor went close for the visitors.
Andy McDonald denied Barry Johnston after half-time and McAlinden could only head over when left unmarked.
Aaron Black's effort went over the bar with Davy O'Hare stranded, then Neil Gawley, Johnny Montgomery and Shea Campbell were all denied by O'Hare.
Boyce's early effort after a jinking run was weak and wide, while at the other end Verner's effort was a 30-yard strike which went just over the crossbar.
Verner missed another chance to get on the scoresheet in the second half.
