Ryan Giggs is a doubt for Wales' friendly against Bosnia.

The winger is having continuing treatment on the calf injury he sustained in the Manchester derby at the weekend.

Mark Hughes would like to be able to play Giggs at some stage in the match.

The manager hopes to field something like his first-choice line-up to give them experience of east European opposition before the Euro 2004 qualifier with Yugoslavia (2 April).

Right back is a problem position following the injury to Mark Delaney.

Cardiff's Rhys Weston is the most likely replacement, but Crystal Palace's Kit Symons could also fill in there.

Sheffield United's Robert Page is expected to continue in place of the injured Danny Gabbidon.

Hughes is likely to give run-outs to Jason Koumas, Matthew Jones and Robert Earnshaw at some stage of the match.

Wales are looking to build on an eight-game unbeaten run, which would give them the longest series of games without defeat in the 127-year history of Welsh football.

The period of success comes just 18 months after the team were branded the worst side in Welsh history.

A positive result would send the team into their next Euro 2004 qualifier - home to Azerbaijan on 29 March - in good heart.
