Walker was handed a surprise recall to the England squad for the friendly against South Africa last May but did not actually play.
The selection came after an impressive season with Leicester as they won promotion to the Premiership.
Walker has been far busier this season with Leicester failing to avoid relegation.
It is six years since he won his last full England cap, but Walker has not given up hope of adding to his three international appearances.
