 | RUSSIA 2-1 GREECE |
Russia coach Georgy Yartsev says his future lies in the hands of the country's football federation after his side's Euro 2004 exit. Russia beat Greece 2-1 but finished bottom of Group A and Yartsev said: "We didn't complete the main task and that was to qualify for the next round.
"So, the job was unsuccessful - why and what will happen we will see."
On winning the final game, he added: "I am proud of my players and hope that we proved we are a good team."

Yartsev made several changes to the side which lost their opening two group games to Spain and Portugal and they produced a much better display.
But Russia were without Alexander Mostovoi, who was axed from the squad by Yartsev after allegedly criticising his training methods.
Asked why the team had not performed so well in Portugal, Yartsev concluded: "There are objective and subjective reasons but clearly we are not at the level we should be at - the deep analysis will follow."
