Born: 01/04/76
Club: AC Milan
Position: Midfielder
Debut: 14/12/94 v Luxembourg
Clarence Seedorf is the only player to have savoured European Cup glory with three different clubs.

He won a third medal with AC Milan last year after previous triumphs with Dutch team Ajax and Spain's Real Madrid.

A regular in the Dutch side for 10 years, his international career has brought ups and downs.

His penalty miss cost the Dutch in a quarter-final shoot-out against France at Euro 96.

In August 2003, he was dropped from the national squad after complaining at being played on the wing instead of his preferred central role.

But Dutch coach Dick Advocaat recalled him after a series of fine performances for his club.

Did you know? Seedorf was born in Surinam, once known as Dutch Guiana, one of the smallest countries in South America.
