High-flying Kettering kept up the pressure at the top of the Blue Square Premier with a win over Eastbourne.

Chris Beardsley broke the deadlock after 39 minutes, tapping home from close range after good work from Andre Boucaud down the left.

Craig Westcarr's header put Kettering two up five minutes after the restart, before Paul Armstrong's consolation for the hosts from 12 yards.

Lee Harper saved from Jay Lovett in the closing stages as Kettering held on.
