David Beckham may have cost Real Madrid 25m, but he will still have to fight for a place at the Bernabeu. So we've been asking you where you would play him if you were in charge of the Spanish champions. And these are the top three choices of formations so far...
Most popular:
Becks in the MIDDLE Your favoured formation would be a 4-4-2, but with Beckham playing in the middle.
You would play him alongside Claude Makelele, flanked by Luis Figo on the right and Zinedine Zidane on the left.
But would this not mean missing out on those lethal Beckham crosses?
Second choice:
Becks on the RIGHT Another popular option seems to be playing Beckham in his natural position on the right wing.
This would allow you to keep Zidane in the middle, his normal role.
But it would also mean pushing Luis Figo out to the left instead...
Third choice:
Becks in a FIVE-MAN MIDFIELD A tactical switch would allow Beckham to roam forward in the inside right channel.
This would mean Roberto Carlos playing as more of a left-wing back.
Advocates of this 3-5-2 line-up seem happy with Luis Figo at right-wing back... but would he not be exposed defensively?
