 Kruse upset the world rankings to retain his title in Copenhagen |
Great Britain number one Richard Kruse began his 2010 campaign by defending his Copenhagen World Cup series title. Kruse, who went into the foil A Grade competition fifth in the world, beat world number four Radoslaw Glonek 15-8. Elsewhere, Jon Willis won the epee A grade at Kish Island in Iran, beating Ali Yaghoobian 15-13 in the final. In the cadets Tom Edwards won the epee title at Dinart in Belgium, while Philip Marsh came third in the epee at the Friedrickshafen event in Denmark.
