Scarborough beat Cleethorpes by just one run in a tense Yorkshire Premier League game at North Marine Road. Scarborough posted 147, but James Finch took seven for 55 as Cleethorpes fell for 146. Skipper Darren Harland described Finch's bowling as "poetry". There was nothing close about the North Yorkshire derby at Clifton Park as York crushed Harrogate by 10 wickets. Harrogate made 157 but York's Dan Wilson piled up a quick 115 not out while Duncan Snell reached the 40s. The results mean that York go on to 22 points after winning three of their opening four matches. Scarborough move on to 11 points having previously taken three from an abandoned game against Castleford. Harrogate are still bottom with no points.
